This research explores the design and implementation of a web-based platform to facilitate community book exchange. As the team leader, I guided the development of a Django-powered full-stack web app featuring user registration, secure authentication, real-time book ratings, comments, favorites, and administrative control.
The system architecture follows the MVC model and emphasizes modularity, security, and ease of use. This project not only reflects my technical ability to build scalable full-stack applications but also my leadership and documentation skills. Supporting artifacts include full software requirements and design specifications.
This research focuses on accessible front-end development for real-world clients. I independently rebuilt a portfolio site for Salmaggi Architects using semantic HTML, WCAG-compliant markup, and responsive Bootstrap design. The project prioritizes screen reader compatibility and responsive design without sacrificing visual appeal.
This work demonstrates my ability to apply accessibility theory to practical client-focused design and is part of my ongoing research in inclusive digital environments.
